Questions

Clear answers about your files & privacy.

No vague promises. Small PDF 7 explains how supported tools process your files, what happens inside your browser and where current technical limitations apply.

Privacy-first processing Supported core tools process your selected documents directly in the browser.
01 Are my PDF files uploaded to Small PDF 7?

The included core tools process selected files locally in your browser. Small PDF 7 does not require a document-processing upload endpoint for those local tools.

02 Can I use the tools without creating an account?

Yes. The included tools are designed to work without registration or sign-in, so you can open an available tool and start working immediately.

03 What happens with very large files?

Browser memory is finite. The engine blocks extreme per-file and combined sizes and warns about large files to reduce the chance of a browser tab crash.

04 Does every operation preserve selectable text?

No. Most structural PDF tools copy PDF content directly, but the current Compress PDF tool rasterizes pages. Its interface warns when selectable text may become image content.
